Meet and Greet with a Pastor

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:23-25 NKJV

If you do not become a member of a local church after you get saved, you isolate yourself to do the following alone:
Hold fast to your confession of hope alone
Put yourself in remembrance of God’s faithfulness alone
Stir yourself up in love and good works alone
Keep your own assembly alone
Exhort yourself alone.
This indeed is not God’s best for you. Hence, it’s good to become a member of the local church [the Body of Christ]!

A Christian who is not a member of a local congregation is like an ORGAN without a body, a SHEEP without a shepherd, and an ORPHAN without a family.
Remember, we have one body, but many members and we are the Body of Christ.
A sheep without a shepherd can easily go astray and wander in wilderness.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the family of God, and you are a family member.
